Feedback Strategies

I agree with the praise article the most. Many people are quick to just tell someone how well they did or are doing at something, but no one really wants to play devils advocate and tell them what's wrong or what they can do better. This falls in line with the second one article, it helps people understand how to word their constructive criticisms so that kids, as well as adults can be "praised" while also giving them ideas on how to do better.

  1. Hi again Jake!

These are different from the articles I looked at, but their message seems to be identical. I would agree that most people are more likely to use praise with little constructive content; buuuuut, every now and then I run into individuals who only criticize. Some of both seems to work the best for motivating me. I do feel like giving someone a criticism sandwich (good, bad, good style feedback) can sometimes feel very transparent, which I find a little irritating. However, most of the feedback I've received so far in this course has been really helpful.

    Also, great meme :)
